HOT SPRINGS CHRISTMAS PARADE
DECEMBER 16, 2023
Two parades in one day? Why not, it was a beautiful day for a parade. After the Iron Gate Christmas Parade several members of the Alleghany Cruisers headed up the mountain for the Hot Springs Christmas Parade. It was another great parade.
IRON GATE CHRISTMAS PARADE
DECEMBER 16, 2023
Rain on December 9 forced the postponement of the Iron Gate Christmas Parade to December 16. The weather was great on that date and several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for this wonderful parade.
COVINGTON CHRISTMAS PARADE
DECEMBER 2, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers participated in the Covington Christmas Parade on December 2. This event was hosted by Olde Town Covington and it was an awesome parade, one of the largest ever hosted in Covington. There was a huge crowd on hand and the weather held out for us to get through to the end. Great evening.
CLIFTON FORGE CHRISTMAS PARADE
DECEMBER 1, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers participated in the Clifton Forge Christmas Parade on December 1st. The parade was presented by Clifton Forge Main Street and it was a great event. We got a little wet during line up, but the parade itself was dry. Great crowd and a fun evening.
CRUISE IN BENEFIT FOR GWEN WOLFE
TRACTOR SUPPLY - OCTOBER 13, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for a Cruise In benefit hosted for Gwen Wolfe on Friday October 13. This event was organized by Robert Floyd and Judy White and although not an "Official" Alleghany Cruisers event, several members helped with the running of it. This would be a monumental evening as this was the first car event hosted at Tractor Supply since July of 2020. It was an awesome evening with an amazing atmosphere with 58 show vehicles present and a huge public crowd. The fund raising efforts went very well and everyone had a great time. This event was an awesome combination of a classic Friday Night Cruise In combined with a great fund raiser for a beloved area resident in need. Awesome evening.
KARS UNLIMITED CRUISE IN FOR
TOBY ALLEN
COVINGTON VA - OCTOBER 8, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for a benefit cruise in for local resident Toby Allen hosted by Kars Unlimited. It was a blustery, cool day but 50 show vehicles were present. The fund raising appeared to go very well and everyone had a great time at this event.
TALCOTT VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
CAR SHOW
TALCOTT WV - OCTOBER 1, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers headed to Talcott WV on October 1st to support our friends in the Talcott Volunteer Fire Department for their annual car show. It was a great event with 46 show cars present. The hospitality is always great in Talcott and the food from the pig roast was amazing. A beautiful October day and another great event.
GOLD DUST PRODUCTIONS - LOST IN THE 60'S
EASTSIDE SPEEDWAY SEPTEMBER 30, 2023
A couple members of the Alleghany Cruisers entered cars in the Lost In The 60's Car Show at Eastside Dragway in Waynesboro VA September 30. A few more members of the Alleghany Cruisers made it to the event as spectators. Over 200 cars were registered in the show and everyone also enjoyed some great drag racing. Another fun day.
KARS UNLIMITED CRUISE IN
FOR LATRINA RICHMOND
COVINGTON VA - SEPTEMBER 24, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers came out to support area resident Latrina Richmond at a Cruise In hosted by our friends at Kars Unlimited. This was a great event with 44 show cars in attendance. There were several activities and it appeared as though the fund raising efforts were successful.
BATH COUNTY K9 UNIT AUTO SHOW
BATH COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 16, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the Bath County K9 Unit Auto Show presented by the Bath County Sheriff's Office. It was a beautiful day and around 35 show vehicles were present. Another great day.

A couple members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the Living Stone Ministries Fall Festival and Car Show on September 16. It was a beautiful day with many great activities.
COVINGTON LABOR DAY PARADE
COVINGTON VA - SEPTEMBER 4, 2023
The Alleghany Cruisers entered 11 club vehicles in the Annual Covington Labor Day Parade. It was a hot, but fun day and a great parade. Big shout out to the Covington Paperworkers Union Local 675 for doing a great job organizing the parade.
MILLBORO CHRISTIAN CHURCH CAR SHOW
MILLBORO VA - SEPTEMBER 2, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers headed north to attend the 2nd Annual Millboro Christian Church Car Show. It wa a great event with 79 show vehicles present. it was a beautiful day and the hospitality from our hosts was outstanding. Great event and we look forward to coming back in 2024.
BATH COUNTY WINGS & WHEELS FESTIVAL
WARM SPRINGS VA - AUGUST 26, 2023
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the Bath County Wings & Wheels Festival at the Bath County Airport. It was a beautiful, but very hot day on the tarmac. Over 80 show vehicles were in attendance and everyone was treated to an exciting air show. Another great event.
RUSTY BASTARD CRUISE IN
NOWHERE BREWING - COVINGTON VA

Please don't laugh, that REALLY is the name of this event. Our friends at A n D Hot Rod Shop along with Nowehere Brewing teamed up to host this pleasant event in downtown Covington in honor of Nowhere Brewing Company's new "Rusty Bastard Ale" This was a fun event and a great evening with friends.
STAR CITY CRUISERS ANNUAL CAR, TRUCK, AND BIKE SHOW

A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the Annual Car, Truck, & Bike Show presented by the Start City Cruisers. It was an awesome event with over 200 vehicles in attendance. We were very impressed with the organization of this great show.
9TH ANNUAL WV STATE FAIR CAR SHOW
AUGUST 13, 2023
After a big day at STREETSCENE on Saturday a few members of the Alleghany Cruisers made our way to one of our favorite events of the year, the West Virginia State Fair Car Show. This is always a fun event as you get to take in the fair as well as the car show. A total of 83 show vehicles were present and it was a fun and relaxing day for all.
45TH ANNUAL STREETSCENE
COVINGTON VA, AUGUST 12, 2023
As many of you know STREETSCENE is something of a legendary event. This is the longest continuous running car show held in the Commonwealth of Virginia. And the 45th edition will be one to be remembered. Our friends at Kars Unlimited pulled out all the stops and hosted an awesome event. With over 300 show vehicles in attendance and an awesome public crowd this was definitely a great day. The Alleghany Cruisers were glad to be a part of this show as we had 18 club vehicles entered. A truly great day.
4TH ANNUAL RELAY FOR LIFE CAR SHOW
COVINGTON VA - AUGUST 5, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers came out in support of the 4th Annual Relay For Life Car Show held at the Jackson River Sports Complex. It was an awesome night with absolutely beautiful weather. Our own club Vice President John Sprouse organizes this show and it was a great event. A total of 49 show vehicles were present and the Relay For Life itself drew a large crowd. The evening was capped off by an excellent performance by The Kings which was presented by the City of Covington Department of Parks and Recreation. It was definitely a magical night.
TAHOE FARM CLUB CAR SHOW
CALDWELL WV - JULY 22, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the 4th Annual Tahoe Farm Club Car Show in Caldwell WV. It was a great event with over 50 cars present. The folks in the Tahoe Farm Club always host great events and are great friends of the Alleghany Cruisers. It was a fun day and a great show.
KEVIN HALL'S SHERIFF'S CAR SHOW
COVINGTON VA - JULY 8, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for Kevin Hall's Sheriff's Car Show on July 8 at Cucci's restaurant in Covington VA. This is always one of our favorite shows of the year as it always has such a great atmosphere. A total of 67 vehicles were present and everyone had a great time. Another great local event.
CMN CAR SHOW - LEWISBURG WV
JULY 1, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on the road July 1st attending the Children's Miracle Network Car Show at Wal Mart in Lewisburg WV. As always J.B. and his crew hosted and excellent event. Around 80 vehicles were present and everyone had a great time, despite the show being cut a little short due to impending storms. Another great event we were proud to be a part of.

Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the 3rd Annual Clifton Forge Little League Car Show held at Mountain Gateway Community College on June 10. These folks always do a great job with their events and they are well organized and well run. It was a beautiful day and a total of 45 vehicles were present.
VETERANS IN THE PARK CAR SHOW
MAY 27, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the 3rd Annual Veterans in the Park Car Show hosteed by our friends at Kars Unlimited. It was a great event with around 100 vehicles in attendance. The weather was cool, but it stayed dry. This was a great show for a great cause as all proceeds supported our local V.F.W chapters. A fun day at the jackson River Sports Complex, and some great bands too courtesy of the Covington Department of Parks and Recreation.
DOUTHAT LAKE RUN - MILLBORO VA
MAY 21, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the 2023 edition of the Douthat Lake Run at Douthat State Park in Millboro VA. This is always one of our favorite shows as it is held at a beautiful venue. Over 120 vehicles were present and our friends in the Douthat SPEED Group did an excellent job with this event. The weather was beautiful and everyone had a great time.
KARS UNLIMITED CRUISE IN - MAY 14, 2023
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers were able to attend the Kars Unlimited Cruise In benefit for Cathy Mundy. Cathy is a local resident whom is suffering from cancer. The crowd was great for this Mothers Day event with 51 vehciles present. The weather was great and the fund raising went well. Another great local event from our friends in red and yellow.
DARE TO CRUZ CAR SHOW LEWISBURG WV - MAY 13, 2023
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers traveled to "Wild and Wonderful" West Virginia for the DARE TO CRUZ Car Show hosted by the Lewisburg Police Department. The weather was overcast, but the rain held off until after the show, making it a grat day. Over 90 cars were on hand and everyone had a great time and enjoyed some great food from Jim's Drive In.
CARS & COCKTAILS - GREENBRIER RESORT WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS WV - MAY 6, 2023
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the Cars & Cocktails event at the Greenbrier Resort. This event is held as part of the annual Concours d'Elegance. The weather was perfect this year and over 100 cars attended. This is event is unique in that you see many rare and unusual cars from all across the country. Everyone truly had a wonderful time and met many new friends.
2023 MDA CAR SHOW - ROANOKE VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the 2023 MDA Car Show held at the Berglund Center in Roanoke Virginia this weekend. This was an awesome event. A big shout out to the MDA committee for hosting a top notch show. Lots of great cars, vendors, and a huge crowd. Car club alley was packed with clubs throughout the region. The Alleghany Cruisers were honored to be represented on Car Club Alley. We met a lot of folks this weekend that showed a lot of interest in our club and our upcoming events. We would like to recognize the many folks from our area that entered cars in this event including our members Robert Robertson and Nicole Clemons. We also want to give a special thanks to Alleghany Cruisers members Ron Leichter and Crystal Lucas for their hard work in assisting with this event as part of the MDA committee. The MDA Car Show is always the kick off to the season, and from what we can see it is going to be a great one.
