IRON GATE CHRISTMAS PARADE - IRON GATE VA
There was a lot going on during the weekend of the Iron Gate Christmas Parade but Kenny Nicely and Chris Rohr represented the Alleghany Cruisers well. Big congratulations to these guys also for winning first and second place in their class.
COVINGTON CHRISTMAS PARADE - COVINGTON VA
The 2022 Covington Christmas Parade was the largest in years, both in terms of participants and spectators. The Alleghany Cruisers entered several vehicles and had a great time spreading the Christmas cheer in our hometown.
CLIFTON FORGE CHRISTMAS PARADE - CLIFTON FORGE VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers participated in the Clifton Forge Christmas Parade. It was a great event with a large turnout. We always enjoy helping to spread the holiday cheer in the area.
KINGS TIRE SERVICE OPEN HOUSE - COVINGTON VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended an Open House and Customer Appreciation Day hosted by one of our area's newest businesses on Wednesday October 26. The weather turned out great and we all had fun welcoming one of the areas newest businesses.
PUMPKINS IN THE PARK TRUNK OR TREAT - COVINGTON VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the City of Covington's Mountain Magic Festival featuring "Pumpkins in the Park" on Saturday October 22. Our friends at Kars Unlimited hosted a trunk or treat event. The weather was perfect and hundreds of children participated in numerous activities. Around thirty cars were present and handed out loads of candy. Another great local event.
MAGIC CITY CHEVROLET CRUISE IN - COVINGTON VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers met up with our friends at the Magic City Chevrolet Cruise In in Covington VA on October 21st. It was a beautiful fall evening and a great event. A lot of people turned out and 39 vehicles were on display. The hospitality from Magic City was superb (and so was the food). This event had the feel of the old Friday Night Cruise In's that so many of us have longed to bring back. Fun night with our friends.
NOAH FUNDRAISER CAR SHOW - LEWISBURG WV
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the NOAH Fundraiser Car Show at Lowes in Lewisburg WV on October 15. It was a great event with perfect sunny weather. Over 60 cars were in attendance and as always, the hospitality from our friends across the state line was excellent.
BETHESDA CHURCH CAR SHOW - WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS WV
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the Bethesda Church Car Show in White Sulphur Springs WV on September 3, 2022. It was a great event with over 90 cars present. We always like seeing our friends across the state line.
2022 BATH COUNTY WINGS AND WHEELS FESTIVAL - WARM SPRINGS VA
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the Bath County Wings & Wheels Festival on August 27. This event made it's first appearance on the Calendar since 2019. It was a great event with over 70 cars in attendance and featured an outstanding air show.
2022 KEVIN HALL'S SHERIFF'S CAR SHOW - COVINGTON VA
After being postponed earlier in the year due to rain (imagine that) Kevin Hall's Sheriff's Car Show finally took place on August 20. Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand to support this event. A total of 43 vehicles were present and the weather was perfect. This show had an incredible atmosphere. Friendly and relaxed, everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves.
WEST VIRGINIA STATE FAIR CAR SHOW -FAIRLEA WV
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the West Virginia State Fair Car Show on Sunday August 14. It was a great event with over 80 cars in attendance. The weather was warm and clear and the atmosphere was great. It is always fun being a part of the fair for the day as this is one of our favorite events of the year.

2022 RELAY FOR LIFE CAR SHOW COVINGTON VA
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the 3rd Annual Relay For Life Car Show in Covington VA on August 6. This show is hosted each year in conjunction with the Alleghany Highlands Relay For Life. Unfortunately, as has been the case most of the summer, this event was plagued by rain. The attendance was light, but as the evening went on the skies cleared and many people came out to support the Relay For Life and enjoy the music provided by The Kings. Even with the unfortunate weather, it was still a fun evening.
2022 FINCASTLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT CAR SHOW FINCASTLE, VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers ventured to Fincastle VA on July 30 for the 2nd Annual Fincastle Volunteer Fire Department Car Show. We have to admit this is one of the funniest events we attended all year. We had a large group go over together and we really enjoyed the beautiful day. The event was well run and had awesome attendance. This is a truly great show.
2022 TAHOE FARM CLUB CAR SHOW CALDWELL, WV
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers visited our friends in the Tahoe Farm Club for their annual car show on July 23. It was a hot, but thankfully dry day. The host club was as friendly as ever and the attendance was great. Another fun event.
2022 JOHN HENRY DAYS CAR SHOW TALCOTT, WV
A few members of the Alleghany Cruisers journeyed deep into West Virginia for the John Henry Days Car Show in Talcott WV on July 10. The morning started cool and damp, but the rains cleared by late morning and it turned out to be a very nice day. Great show with some of the best hospitality we have ever encountered at an event.
2022 WAL MART CMN CAR SHOW LEWISBURG WV
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the CMN Car Show at Wal Mart in Lewisburg WV. The show was a great event, making it's first appearance on the schedule since 2019. Over 125 cars were present.
2022 CLIFTON FORGE LITTLE LEAGUE CAR SHOW - CLIFTON FORGE VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers attended the 2nd Annual Clifton Forge Little League Car Show on June 3rd. It was a great, well attended, well run event. We all had a great time. The Alleghany Cruisers love seeing more and more new events being created in our area as the Alleghany Highlands is THE destination for car enthusiasts in Virginia.
2022 VETERANS IN THE PARK CAR SHOW - COVINGTON VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the 2022 Veterans In The Park Car Show presented by Kars Unlimited. It was a beautiful day with a strong turnout. Everyone enjoyed each others company and had a great time supporting our local V.F.W chapters.
2022 DOUTHAT LAKE RUN - MILLBORO VA
Several members of the Alleghany Cruisers were on hand for the 2022 Douthat Lake Run held May 22, 2022 at Douthat State Park. The weather was perfect and the Douthat SPEED Group hosted an excellent event. Lots of nice cars and great people.
CARS & COCKTAILS - WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS WV
Alleghany Cruisers members attended the Cars & Cocktails Car Show at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs WV on May 7, 2022. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate and it was a damp and dreary day. However there was still a good turn out and everyone that attended had a great time.

2022 MDA CAR SHOW
The Alleghany Cruisers had a great time at the 41st MDA Car Show at the Berglund Center in Roanoke VA. Our members really enjoyed interacting with everyone and introducing everyone to our new club. Tarzan Bush's 1931 Ford "A" Model was chosen to represent our club on car club alley and it definitely made for a beautiful display. A big shout out to club members Ron Leichter, Crystal Lucas, and Tarzan Bush for their efforts in setting up the display and building the frame for our banner. We thoroughly enjoyed this event and look forward to being back on Car Club Alley in 2023
